• Synergies between multi-criteria decision analysis (MCDA) and problem structuring methods (PSMs).

• The development and application of group decision support tools to improve strategic thinking and decision analysis in the public and private sectors.

• The development and employment of decision support tools, based on PSMs and MCDA, for planning sustainable infrastructure and community development.

• The use of models and visual tools during facilitated problem structuring and decision making.
